Hotels were developed as AmeriSuites but were sold and are currently owned by Hyatt Place & Extended Stay Deluxe Hotels.

AmeriSuites was an innovator in offering one of the first available affordable suite accommodations and grew to approximately 100 locations throughout the United States.

This extended room prototype featured a combination of a split bedroom and living space.  A common widescreen TV was placed in the middle of the suite to be viewed from either location.  Designed with both a standing seam metal roof and poured-in-place concrete floors these buildings were designed to last.

Later, when Shoney’s was looking to leave the hotel industry, this updated interior corridor design made their portfolio more attractive.

Dunkin’ Brands

Project Notes

Dunkin’ Brands

MRP Design Group partnered with Dunkin’ Brands corporate design team to develop a full set of permit, bid and construction drawings for several prototype building configurations.  The primary challenge for these projects was incorporating the requirements for three individual concepts (Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins and ToGo’s) into one cohesive restaurant.  Each concept needed to maintain its own unique branding yet the overall design had to allow for shared resources and present the three concepts as a unified restaurant.
